Day 1 Beijing tour
Highlights: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Badaling Great Wall

Schedule: Pick you up from your hotel in the morning, and drive to visit the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, which is the largest and best-preserved palatial complex. After lunch, drive to visit the Badaling Great Wall. Badaling section is the most famous and best-preserved wall. Its highest point at Badaling is some 800 meters above sea level. Cable car is available and it is optional. After dinner, transfer to the Beijing West Train Station to take train to Xi'an by the soft sleeper.
Day 2 Xian Tour

Schedule: Our guide and driver will pick you up at the train station in Xi'an, afterwards, drive to visit the 8th wonder in the world-Terra Cotta Warriors that were formed more than 2000 years ago. After lunch in the downtown, we will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is a seven-storey square cone-shaped tower built in the Tang Dynasty, about the 7th Century. It was used to store the Buddhism scriptures and statues brought back from India by Master Xuanzang. Then our driver and guide will transfer you back to hotel, the free time is on you afterwards.
Day 3: Xi'an-Jiayuguan

Schedule: Our guide and driver in Xi'an will send you to the airport in Xi'an to catch the flight to Jiayuguan, and then our Silk Road tour starts. At Jiayuguan , our local new guide and driver will pick you up at the airport; the first attraction we visit on the Silk Road is Jiayuguan Pass which is the most western fort of the Great Wall for Chinese emperors who thought theirs was the only true civilization while the world outside of the pass was an uncivilized world for only nomads and savages.
Day 4 Jiayuguan-Dunhuang

Schedule: ToDay you will visit famous Mingsha (Echoing-Sand) Hill. It is so named because when you slide down the slope, you can hear the roaring echo of sands. You will firstly experience a short camel ride along the hill to reach the Crescent Moon Spring which is really a natural wonder that the crescent-shaped spring ringed by the endless Gobi desert has not dried up since it come into being and still gushes with fresh current.
Day 5 Dunhuang-Turpan

Schedule: After finishing a short rest in the hotel, visit the famous Mogao Grottoes which is known as the "Pearl of Oriental Art" or "Oriental Louvre", the Mogao Grottoes not only boasts a large number of vivid Buddhism murals, statues and architecture, but also is renowned as the treasure house of Buddhism culture with richest contests and longest history. Afterwards, continue the trip to Dunhuang Museum, where you will have a better understanding of the Silk Road from the exhibited historical relics. After dinner, transfer by car from Dunghuang to Liuyuan Train station (2 hours), from Liuyuan you will take train heading to Turpan.
Day 6 Turpan Tour

Schedule: In the morning, our local guide and driver will pick you up at Turpan train station. Firstly, we will visit the existing largest ancient minaret-Sugong Minaret that was built in 1778 with a height of 37 meters. Close to the the Sugong Minaret stands the largest mosque in Turpan. Afterwards, we will visit the Karez Wells that are known as 3 of greatest Chinese ancient projects along with the Great Wall, the Beijing-Hangzhou Great Cannel.
Day 7 Turpan-Urumqi
Highlights: Ruins of Gaochang City, Baizikeli Thousand Buddha Caves , International Grand Bazaar

Schedule: After breakfast, we will drive to visit the Ruins of Gaochang City that used to be the capital of Gaochang Kingdom; this kingdom was defeated by the Tang Dynasty and fell into ruins at the end of 13th century during the war. Just 10 kilometers away from the ruins locate Baizikeli Thousand Buddha Caves, which used to be the loyal temple of the Gaochang Kingdom. Though the caves were seriously damaged during the history, toDay you could still find it a large delicate and colorful treasure house of art. And then, we will continue our driver to Urumqi, the capital city of Xinjiang Province, tonight you can relax yourself by visiting Urumqi International Grand Bazaar where you will find lots of local tasty food and delicate craftwork.
Day 8 Urumqi-Xining-Lhasa

Schedule: Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and then transfer you to the airport in Urumqi, you will arrive in Xining by flight, and our local guide and Xining will pick you up from airport in Xining and transfer you to the train station to catch the famous Qinghai-Tibet train, and your Tibet tour starts once you get on board of train.
Day 9 Arrival upon Lhasa & Acclimatization

Schedule: Our Tibetan guide and driver in the holy city of Lhasa will pick you up at train station in Lhasa and then transfer you to the hotel booked for you. ToDay , we arrange no tour for you in order to let you rest and acclimatize better for the next Day s' guided tour. You can hang out by yourself to get the first impression of the holy city of Lhasa.

Schedule: In the morning, visit the symbol or landmark of Lhasa-PotalaPalace, the successive Dalai Lama's winter residence. In the afternoon, visit the center of Tibetan Buddhism-Jorhkang Temple, where you will come across lots of devoted pilgrimages coming from every corner of Tibet. Both sites are under the list of the world cultural heritages by the UNISCO.

Schedule: In the morning, we will visit Drepung Monastery which is the biggest Tibetan Buddhism College with the biggest number of monks in Tibet. The monastery used to be the winter residence of the Dalai Lama before the 5th Dalai Lama moved his residency to the Potala Palace. And in the afternoon, we will visit another influential Gelugpa Monastery-Sera Monastery, where the largest scale of scripture debating among monks is famous all across Tibet. We will watch the debate session and you may join in too with the help your guide.
Day 12 Tour ends, departure transfer to train station or airport.
